Audrey Cooper wrote a sympathy message

“John, Billy, and Jenny, I am so saddened to learn of the passing of your wonderful mother. She was such a beautiful soul. She was kind, very friendly, compassionate, and had a great sense of humor. She will be dearly missed. I moved back to Rocky Mount after living in Greenville and Raleigh. I walk my collie, Teddy, often in the neighborhood. We used to see your mom walking also in the neighborhood. It was always a joy to talk to her, and Teddy loved her.”
