She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Clark and Stella Williams Clark; her husband William Matthew Hurdle, Jr.; her siblings, Marvin, Wilton, Bill Clark and Mildred Ferrin; and her pet Sugar.

She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Hurdle (Bruce Wayne Murray) of Sharpsburg and Linda Hurdle Poole (Richard) of Greenville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
