He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Bennett and Mavis Bennett; and his wife Terry Bennett. He is survived by: his children, Billy Mansfield (Hazel) of Rocky Mount, Melissa Pierce (Daniel) of Rocky Mount and Jennifer Bennett (Justin Pergerson) of Louisburg; his siblings, Eve Williams (Mike) of Whitakers and Mike Bennett (Joy) of Jackson; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Noah Mansfield and Brayden Pierce. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
