He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sheridan Brownwell and Nancy Naomi Barnhart Brownwell; and his siblings, Kenneth Brownwell, Linda Mossbrook and Joan Meyers.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette Perles Brownwell; his sons, Robert Edward Brownwell, Jr. (Lisa) and Christopher Sheridan Brownwell (Dawn); his grandchildren, Tyler Brownwell, Hayley Vance, Ryan Brownwell, Timothy Brownwell, Kyle Brownwell, Tory Brownwell, Josiah Brownwell, Micaiah Brownwell and Justus Brownwell; his great grandchildren, Paula Brownwell and Winnie Brownwell; and his sisters, Edna Harmon (Paul) and Kathryn Mitch (Pete). He is also survived by his family, especially the children and grandchildren.
