He was predeceased by: his father George W. Landis; and his stepparents, Barbara Landis and J. D. Hines. He is survived by: his mother Ethel H. Landis of Rocky Mount; his wife Sharon B. Landis; his son Matthew Willis of Wilmington; his brother Billy Landis (Dee) of Macclesfield; his nieces and nephews, Alison Webb (Freddie), Mary Katherine Self (Trey), Isla and Lane Webb; and his pets, Blue and Reba.
