We are sad to announce that, on October 18, 2025, at the age of 92, Robert Perry Hyatt (Rocky Mount, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hyatt and Mursetis Hyatt; his wife Emily Baker Hyatt; and his sister Frances Hockman. He is survived by: his children, Russell P. Hyatt (Pam) of Bradenton, FL, Victoria C. Sowers (Ron) of Nashville, NC and Katherine Creekmore; his sister Theresa Cotten (Joseph) of Lenoir City, TN; his granddaughter Samantha Johnson (Jared); his great grandchildren, Baker and Beckett Johnson of Parrish, FL; his grandson Ryan P. Hyatt (Ashlynn); and his great grandchild Rex P. Hyatt of Bradenton, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Music Ministries at the Church of the Good Shepherd.
