It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Baker Hearne (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on May 8, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodgers Alec Baker, Sr. and Virginia Rollings Baker; her husband Joe Cornelius Hearne, Sr.; and her brothers, Rodgers Alec Baker, Jr. and Marvin Alexander Baker.
She is survived by: her sons, Joe "Joey" Cornelius Hearne, Jr. (Casey) of Spring Grove, VA and James "Jimmy" Christopher Hearne (Stephanie) of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Brysun Hearne (Alaina), Jordan Webb (Jordan), Joshua Webb (Victoria), Hannah West and Austin West; and her great grandchildren, Landen Webb and Colesyn Webb.
