We announce the death of Sandra McGlohon (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 60. Sandra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Geraldine McGlohon and Rod McGlohon; her great-niece Paisley Ann McGlohon; her grandparents, Thomas, Dixie Smith, Solomon and Aileen McGlohon; and her pet Yeti.
She is survived by: her husband Jim King (Jaycee); her son Luke King (Ari Cowart); her brother Allen McGlohon (Gayle); her nephew Patrick McGlohon (Kathlina); her aunt Jeanette McMillan; her sister-in-law Theresa King; her in-laws, Doug and Lorraine King; her close friends, Robin Latham, Priti Lalka, Lynn Pardue and Traci Claywell; and her friends, Wendy Newcombe and Pam Dawes.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM at the Englewood Assembly of God (2181 S Halifax Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27803). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Dawn's memory to Carolina Animal Network (CarolinaAnimalNetwork.org), to The American Cancer Society, or to the Children's and Youth programs at Englewood Assembly of God in Rocky Mount.
