She is survived by: her children, Darcell Strickland of Rocky Mount, NC, Maurice Battle of Rocky Mount, NC and Cornelius Battle (Dorothy Shaw) of Rocky Mount, NC; and her grandchildren, Zykevion Strickland of Rocky Mount, NC, Jalyas Bellamy of Rocky Mount, NC, Marqua Shaw of Rocky Mount, NC and Markita Shaw. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the William Toney's Funeral Home Chapel (516 S Poplar St, Spring Hope, NC 27882).
