He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Turner and Sandra Keen Turner; his wife Maxine Turner; and his brother Joey "JoeJoe" Turner. He is survived by: his son Daniel Turner; his grandchildren, Mariah, Johanna, Daniel, Jr. and Lainey Turner; his siblings, Brian Turner of Elm City and Dana Carter of Rocky Mount; and his aunt Peggy Bass (Blackie) of Elm City. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and family friends.
