It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Oiiphant (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), who passed away on July 28, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Morgan and Mary Mullins Morgan; and her siblings, Venita Strickland, Jimmy Morgan and Charlie Honeycutt.
She is survived by: her husband Stacy Oliphant; her children, Stacey Baxley (Phillip) of Castalia, Jo Ann Carpenter (Tony) of Dunn, Shelby Beatty of Fayetteville, Teresa Morgan of Italy, Billy Jo "Jamie" Oliphant (Donna) of Momeyer and Brandon Pomeroy of Spring Hope; and her sisters, Mary Lou Flowers (Larry) of Tarboro and Toni Davis of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren; her 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Shirley's memory to a charity of one's choice.
