He is survived by: his father Frank Bridgers; his siblings, Frank Carlton and Carol; his wife Judy Phillips Bridgers; his daughters, Karen Light (Mike), Susan Ingram (Leon) and April Richardson (Brian); his grandchildren, Jessica Gorman (Ben), Joshua Light, Jordan Light (Kyla), Hannah Ingram, Caroline Ingram, Graham Richardson and William Troy Richardson; his great grandchildren, Oliver Gorman and Charlotte Gorman; his sisters, Gloria Turner and Cathy Crisp; and his sisters-in-law, Lilly Bridgers, Janice Brown and Deloris Hunter.
In his memory, in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Ferrum, VA or Duke Cancer Center in Durham, NC.
