She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Reese Smith; and her brothers, Ricky and Ledon Smith. She is survived by: her son Sean Covington (Robyn) of Rocky Mount; her father William Smith (Sarah) of Moncure; her fiancé Billy Dixon of Rockingham; her brother Shannon Smith (Robin) of Pittsboro; and her grandchildren, Cameron and Mackenzie Covington. She is also survived by several friends and extended family.
