He was predeceased by: his son Gregory Allen Cohoon; and his wife Lou. He is survived by: his children, William Lawrence, Angela Cohoon Stokes (Robbie) of Red Oak and Jessica Cohoon Daughtridge of Rocky Mount; his granddaughter Olivia Daughtridge; and his stepgrandchildren, Noah Stokes (Rebecca) and Mary Kathryne Baker (Michael).
