He was predeceased by: his siblings, George "Bubba" Proctor, Jr. and Irene Proctor Batts. He is survived by: his children, George Proctor, Sr. (Minnie Lee Benson Proctor), Barbara Proctor (Bri) of Durham and Preston Proctor (Ashley) of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Avery Proctor and Nakoma Smith; and his sisters, Virginia Proctor Turner (Gene) and Ellen Proctor Calhoun (Kelly). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and other extended relatives.
