She was predeceased by: her parents, James Willis Manning and Edith Vick Manning Carden; and her brother Edward Moses Manning. She is survived by: her husband Johnie Earl Pridgen, Sr.; and her son Johnie Earl Pridgen, Jr. (Janet). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dearest friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home (1130 N Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home (1130 N Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A burial will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (601-609 E. Branch Street Spring, Hope, NC 27882).
