She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Nelms and Olivia Walker Nelms; her husband Herbert Franklin "Frank" Walters; her son Herbert Franklin "Frankie" Walters, Jr.; and her siblings, Faye Nelms Sealy, Alexander Nelms, Jr., Clifton Thomas Nelms and John Allen Nelms.
She is survived by: her son Michael Walters of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Danielle Walters Cleve of Rocky Mount and Jordan Franklin Walters of Rocky Mount; her daughter-in-law Cindy Walters; and her siblings-in-law, Elmer Lee Walters of Rocky Mount, Ann Nelms of Nashville and Betty Walters of Stone Mountain, GA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
