She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Galog and Emma Galog Jr.; her husband Ernest "Pop" Yott Jr.; her brothers, Paul and John; her sons, Ernest "Sleepy", David "Wolf" and Charles; her sisters-in-law, Henrietta and Thelma; and her daughters-in-law, Elena and Barbara Jean.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Yott (Beth), Donna Johnson (Dennis) of Rocky Point and Kathleen Byrd of Rocky Point; her grandchildren, Jennifer Bryd and Jim Byrd Jr.; her great grandchild Ava Langston; her brother Francis Galog of Belville; and her children-in-law, Tang Geidle and Jim Byrd Sr.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Harrell's Funeral Home (212 S Dickerson St, Burgaw, NC 28425). A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sea Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery (17750 US-17, Hampstead, NC 28443).
