It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orville Earl Gurganus of Rocky Point, North Carolina, who passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Gurganus and Dorothy Gurganus; and his son Timothy Earl Gurganus. He is survived by : his wife Margarett West; his grandson Dalton Gurganus of Penderlea; his stepchildren, Billy Melville (Jeannie) of Harrells, Mike Melville (Rae) of Wilmington and Kathy Sanderson (Danny) of Rose Hill; his sister-in-law Gerre Waters; and his friend Earl.
