She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Sneed and Nellie Martin Sneed; her husband Bobby Lee Martin; her sisters, Margaret Jane Parks and Susie Kathleen Greene; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Sparks, Betty Blackburn (Marvin) and Johnny Callaway.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sherri Martin of Rock Creek and Melissa Collins (Randy) of Spartanburg, SC; her sisters-in-law, Faye Sparks (Donald) of Boomer, Jenny Lyles (Wayne) of State Road and Judy Callaway of Statesville; and her friend Susie Kemp of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
