He is survived by: his son Andy Waddell Jr. (Taylor) of Thurmond; his siblings, Garvie Waddell (Tina) of Shallotte, Wanda Blackburn (Tim) of Ronda, Sandra Combs of Ronda and Renda Benge (Bobby) of Elkin; his granddaughter Madelyn Waddell of Thurmond; and his brother-in-law Rex Ashley of Ronda.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ICU Department at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital.
