He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Burchette and Kate Alee Caudill Burchette; and his siblings, James A. "Jim" Burchette, Lucy Melton, Mary Jane Combs and Katherine Bauguss.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Gail Couch Burchette; his daughters, Nita (Tony Carter), Mandy (Randy Crabb) and Alice (Tommy Rogers); and his grandchildren, Alex Carter, Christy, Ethan Mathis, Zach, Kasey Crabb, Kinsey Crabb, Griffin Wheeler and Mathew Rogers. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (3982 Clingman Rd, Ronda, NC 28670). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at the same location.
