He is survived by: his siblings, Tommie Ford (Bobby) of Elkin, Sandy Poplin (Rosann) of Ronda and Jeff Poplin (Beth) of Elkin; his stepdaughter Tabetha Lambeth of Roaring River; his grandchildren, Joshua Gunter, Jared Tincher, Sara Jarvis and Josiah Jarvis; and his close friend Nancy Steelman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
