We bid farewell to Carole Elizabeth Godfrey Hill of Roper, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 16, 2025 at the age of 76. Carole touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis A. Godfrey and Helen Elizabeth Cox Godfrey (Nana Carole); her husband Robert Glenn "Bobbie" Hill; and her stepdaughter Robin Terry. She is survived by: her children, Tiffany Coltrain (Greg) and Ryan Quidley (Blair); her stepdaughter Kathy Hardison (Glenn); her grandchildren, Jewel Cook (Andrew), Mollie Cook-Coltrain, Mallorie Cook-Coltrain, Kalyn Hardison, Hagen Terry, Mara Thefaine (Lauren), Austin Coltrain, Kaylyn Jordan (Matthew), Hylee Jarrett and Lilly; her great grandchildren, Kenleigh Hardison and Leaven Jordan; her sister Kay Woolard (Jeffrey); and her friends, Greg and Tiffany Coltrain.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service (4500 US-264, Washington, NC 27889). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cape Colony Church of Christ (831 Soundside Rd, Edenton, NC 27932). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (180 E 15th St, Washington, NC 27889).
