She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Spruill and Velma Phelps Spruill; her former husband Jesse Griffin; her husband Robert Wright; her daughter Donna Allen; and her siblings, Marvin Spruill, Walter Spruill, Bobby Spruill, Hazel Terocha, Patrica Davis and Joyce Spruill.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Griffin of Roper, Jesse Griffin Jr. of Jamesville, Robby Wright of Mackeys and Patrice Richards (Frank) of Suffolk, VA; and her brothers, Raymond Spruill of Roper, Jimmy Spruill (Deborah) of Beaufort and Phillip Spruill (Marie) of Moyock. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
