She was predeceased by : her parent Thomas Carlton; and her sister Sylvia. She is survived by : her mother Vernette Corbett; her children, Sylvia D. Corbett, Bessie Lorraine Jackson (Siwatu) and William Corbett (Tanisha); her grandchildren, Eunicea Pearsall and Jakel Pearsall; her sisters, Ann Swann, Jeanette Lane (Stephen) and Joyce Graham (Russell); and her son James Fussell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
