He was predeceased by: his parents, Norwood Lanier (Pete) and Nancy Turner Lanier. He is survived by: his brother Harry Keith Lanier (Susan) of Harrells; his nephew Jerry Lanier (Haley) of Clayton; his niece Olivia Lanier of Raleigh; and his great-nephews, Thomas and Carson Lanier. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
