She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollin Norris and Arah Godwin Norris; her husband Willie Earl Johnson; her son-in-law Allen Burgette; and her sisters, Marilyn Beard, Jeanette Beard and Merita "Pee-Wee" Carlisle.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Burgette of Durham, Jay Johnson (Beth) of Fayetteville and Jerry Johnson (Melody) of Eastover; her grandchildren, Tyler Burgette, Hayley Burgette, Jeremy Johnson, Jennifer Johnson, Jessica Fournier, Dr. Justin Johnson and Jordan Johnson; her great grandchildren, Charlotte Fournier, Harlynn Fournier, Ryleigh Fournier, Walker Johnson, Cooper Johnson, Kinsley Jones, Boden Johnson, Wells Johnson, Arahbella Craig and Osiah Craig; and her siblings, Doris Hill, Ruby Bryant, Pat Royal, O. B. Norris (Belinda) and Tommy Norris.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (401 W Roseboro St, Roseboro, NC 28382). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
