She was predeceased by: her parents, Leamon Edge and Lillie Faircloth Edge; her husband W. J. Simmons; and her siblings, Robert "Buddy" Edge, Bobby Edge, Magdalene Melvin, Aslean Edge, Christine Hall and Kathleen Davis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terrie Pippin (Scott) of Roseboro and Nancy Bigler (Derrick) of Linden; her grandchildren, Daniel Bigler, Gabriel Pippin and Cameron Pippin; and her brother Billy Edge (Debbie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (401 W Roseboro St, Roseboro, NC 28382). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
