He is survived by: his wife Glendoline Boone; his children, Veronica Boone-Whitted (Jesse), Arlesia D. Royal and Lorenza Boone, Jr.; and his siblings, Mattie Lamb, Harry Truman Boone (Barbara), Cora Goodman, Hilda Forte, Larry D. Boone (Althea), Paul Eason (April) and Katie Boone-Meeks (Leeanthony). He is also survived by four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wiseman Mortuary of Garland (65 N Belgrade Ave, Garland, NC 28441). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Robinson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (2217 Old Mintz Hwy, Roseboro, NC 28382).
