He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest David Danks and June Ruth Danks; and his brother Dale Danks. He is survived by: his wife Annette Danks; his sons, Tony Danks (Carla), Rodney Danks (Jennifer) and Ryan Danks; his grandchildren, Colton Danks, Marc Danks (Brooke), Lee Danks, Madison Danks, Gracie Danks and Conner Danks; his great grandchildren, Everett Danks and Ira Danks; and his brothers, Gary Danks and Glenn Danks.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Union Grove Baptist Church (395 Vander Rd, Salemburg, NC 28385). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
