Pete Pope Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 8, 2023, at the age of 89, Pete Pope of Roseboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eurie Pope and Lucille Hobbs Pope; his wife Ida Mac Sessoms Pope; his son Johnny Mack Pope; his siblings, James Pope, Ellis Pope, Clarence Pope, Samuel Pope, Eva Pope Fryer, Emma Lou Pope Wilson, Carolyn Jean Pope Davis, Janie Marie Pope and Edna Pope Royal; his children, Thomas Pope (Carolyn) of Roseboro and Helen Pope Pearsall (David) of Stedman; and his daughter-in-law Tammy Pope of Georgia. He was also cherished by six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and 1 step grandchild.
