He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jackson Hedges; his children, Rhonda Dorman (Stephen), Stephen Hedges (Juliana) and Douglas Schultz (Amy); and his grandchildren, Morgan Taylor, Landon Dorman, Samantha, Joshua and Lauren Schultz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Lebanon Baptist Church (3329 Beard Rd, Eastover, NC 28312). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery (3329 Beard Rd, Eastover, NC 28312).
