It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Vance Williams of Roseboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 12, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Faye McLamb Williams (Tensie); his parents, Loster Williams and Mazzie Janie McPhail Williams; his siblings, James Rufus "Rup" Williams, Dixie Williams, Evon Linkous, Gertrude Williams and Carolyn John; and his daughter Brenda Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Michael D. Williams (Rose), Lynette Honeycutt (Stevie) and Beverly Johnson (Billy); his son-in-law Derek Wood; his grandchildren, Cori Boes (Chris), Kelly Spell, Carly Williams, Casie Williams, Bailey Clark (Dane), Evan Johnson (Vanna) and Ethan Johnson; his great grandchildren, Grey Darion, Audrey Boes, Charlie Rose Lawson and Marley Faye Lawson; his sister JoAnn Miller (Larry); and his friend Woodrow "Pud" Smith.
