He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Edgar Dodson and Lola Aiken Dodson of Rosman, NC.; his wife Mildred Powell Dodson; his siblings, Margaret Dodson Tabor of Wagener, SC and Carroll Dodson of Rosman, NC; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Dodson of Wagener, SC..
He is survived by: his siblings, Rev. Leroy Dodson (Gloria) of Wagener, SC, Joe Dodson (Gale) of Wagener, SC and Barbara Dodson Strang (John); his sons, Michael Dodson (Maryann) of Horseshoe, NC, Terry Dodson (Alice) of Rosman, NC and Rev. Eddie Dodson (Diane) of Rosman, NC.; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Dodson (Selina) of Rosman, NC and Melissa Dodson Moody (Scott) of Arden, NC. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren plus many other loving nieces and nephews.
