She was predeceased by: her husband George "Buddy" Smith; her parents, Volney Stamey and Eva Galloway Stamey; her siblings, Harold Stamey, Evelyn Stamey, Robert Stamey and Edward Stamey; and her daughter Angela Brown.
She is survived by: her children, James Brown (Donna Brown), Tabatha Brown and Richie Brewer; her son-in-law John McNeil (Sareatha); her grandchildren, Carrie, Tabatha, Samantha and Samara McNeil; her brothers, Troy Stamey (Linda) and Randy Stamey (Diane); and her grandchildren, Jaime Davis (Malcolm), Kayla Palmer, Zachary Stiles (Micaela), Lacey Demorne (Roosevelt) and Patience Blankenship (Joshua).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Affirmative Word Tabernacle. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
