It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Chandler Brown of Rougemont, North Carolina, who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lester and Annie Cole Brown; and his siblings, Ernest Brown, Griffin Brown, Kathleen Brown Daniels, Kennette Brown, Loren Brown, Mabelene Brown Ray, Mozelle Brown Cagle, Erskine Brown and Gaddis Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Moore Brown; his children, David Keith Brown (Lori Bateman) and Jill Brown Stephens; his grandchildren, Leah Stephens Briggs (Aaron), Chandler Stephens (Emily Hernandez), Dalton Brown, Kale Stephens and Colby Brown; his great grandchildren, Sophia Briggs, Levi Briggs, Kayla Grace Briggs and Lily Rose Briggs; his pet Mookie Brown; his sibling's children, Earl Lester Brown (Lynn Breeze), Patricia Brown Lloyd (Gary) and Pam Brown Stone (Tony); his great-nieces, Stephanie Brown Morgan (Chad), Brittany Brown Lingner (Joshua) and Micah Mae Lingner; and his great-nephew Brennan Thomas Lingner.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brooks and White Funeral Home (907 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
