It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Ann Mooney (Rougemont, North Carolina), who passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pender Lee Oakley and Mozelle Taylor Oakley. She is survived by: her children, Karen Harris (Stacey) and Bret Mooney of Rougemont; her brothers, Tommy Oakley (Libby) and John Oakley (Pat) of Rougemont; and her grandchildren, Travis Mooney (Allison) and Shana Marie.
