She is survived by: her husband Russell Sutphen; her daughters, Lisa Marie Schavlay and KateLynn Dawn Cusick; her stepfather Hugh R. Hammond Sr.; her siblings, Hugh R. Hammond Jr., Eddie Goritski and Edna Goritski Myers; and her grandchildren, George Schavlay Jr. (Mallory), Brittany Schavlay and Madison Schavlay.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Vans Bar (7909 Cassam Rd, Bahama, NC 27503).
