He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Lacy James and Annie Wagner James. He is survived by: his wife Anita Parrish; his sons, Michael R. James of Hurdle Mills and Jeffrey A. James of Wendell, NC; his grandchildren, Wyatt James and Charlotte James; and his sisters, Annie Lou Wagoner and Evelyn J. Winn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walkers Funeral Home Chapel of Hillsborough (204 N Churton St, Hillsborough, NC 27278). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Little River Presbyterian Church Cemetery (4211 Little River Church Rd, Hurdle Mills, NC 27541).
