He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Rozell Williams and Alpha Hoyle Williams; and his siblings, Nell Lee, Carrie Barnhart, Vicki Williams, Willie Sherrill, Edgar, Elmer, Earl and Ray Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Webb Williams; his children, Shelley Carter (Bobby), Vonda Capps (Scott) and Heath Williams; his grandchildren, Joseph Capps (Casey), Gabrielle Milian (Michael), Jacob Capps (Cameron), Kayla Craddock (Lee), Taylor Williams, Mia Grace Williams and Maeve Picard-Williams; and his great grandchildren, Cooper Capps, Hazel Craddock, Charlie Capps and Duke Craddock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, specifically the Youth Fund or Choir Fund.
