Ray Walters Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Ray Walters of Rougemont, North Carolina. Ray, born on March 19, 1951, passed away on September 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Ray for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Mildred Lee McBroom Walters; his wife Annette Sue Whitney Walters; and his siblings, Carolyn W. Harris and James Melvin Walters.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marshall Thomas Walters, Mary Ann Lunsford and Norma Roberts (Jimmy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Brooks and White Funeral Home, Inc. (907 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573).
