She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Montgomery Matthews and Elizabeth Cameron Matthews; her husband Thomas Julian Warren, Jr.; her son David Matthews Warren; and her siblings, Jimmy Matthews and Barbara Matthews Jackson.

She is survived by: her sons, Barton Thomas Warren (Dana) and John Robert Warren; her grandchildren, Thomas Warren (Lauren), Ethan Warren and Mack Warren; her great grandchild Peyton Warren; and her granddaughter Chandler Warren.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Burchwood Cemetery (600 Old Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573).
