She is survived by: her son Stephen O'Ryan Strickland (Melissa); her grandchildren, Ayden Hunter Strickland and Taylor Bartley (Coleman); her brother Darwin Oxendine; and her nephews, Lannes D. Carter, Jr. (Tammy) and Michael Carter (Victoria).
