He is survived by: his children, Trina Daye Torain (Thomas) of Timberlake, NC, Keith Daye (Pam) of Roxboro, NC, Anthony Daye (Rhonda) of Roxboro, NC, Jonathan Daye (Angel) of High Point, NC, Traun Daye (Angie) of Concord, NC and Ryan Daye (Crystal) of Durham, NC; his grandchildren, Erin Daye, Cyerra Torain, Camille Daye, Aryana Daye, Camryn Daye, Tyreek Torain, Adrian Daye, Harper Daye, Andrea Henderson, SeCorria Pettiford and Mya Pettiford; his great grandchild Diamond Fletcher, Jr.; his siblings, Roxanna Tapp of Durham, Carrie Carrington (James) of Creedmoor, NC, Jacob Daye (Mary) of Roxboro, Robert Daye (Jeanette) of Burlington, NC and Michael Daye (Pam) of Mebane, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Glennie Carver of Roxboro, Mamie Winstead (Carl) of Roxboro, Louella Daye of Roxboro, Frances Rogers of Durham and Willie Mae Daye of Wake County, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
