She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Royster and Cora Royster; her daughter Bridgett Gail Pettiford; her grandchildren, Brock Cloud and Bridgett JaNetta Cloud Teague; and her siblings, Gennie Smith, Mattie Royster, Corrine Royster, Jimmy Royster, Willie Royster and Wallace Royster, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Cloud (Broderick) of Winston Salem, NC, Rev. Janice Harris (Theodore) of Fayetteville, NC and Sandra Bryant of Moncks Corner, SC; her sisters, Irie Poteat of Roxboro, NC, Margaret Harris of Roxboro, NC and Linda Royster of Roxboro, NC; her aunt Annie Black of Roxboro; and her grandchildren, Natasha, Aressa, Quenten, Kenneth and Marqus. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
