It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred David Hicks (Roxboro, North Carolina), who passed away on July 5, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Graham Hicks and Lucile Blackard Hicks; his sister Lucy Hicks Hawkins; and his siblings-in-law, Susan Crowder Hicks and Roger Oakley.
He is survived by: his siblings, Douglas Hicks (Pat) of Wake Forrest, Gary Hicks (Lynne) of Cary, Frances Powell (Gordon) of Roxboro and Gayle Peed (Ronnie) of Roxboro; and his brother-in-law Randy Hawkins of Roxboro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
