He is survived by: his wife Mabel Palmer; his children, Arlene Coleman (Curtis) of Roxboro, Prentice Daye (Lalita) of Bullock, Burnice Daye (Sekethia) of Roxboro, Charlie Daye of Roxboro and Debra Daye of Roxboro; and his siblings, Betsy Lewis (Edward) of Roxboro, Arnold Palmer of Roxboro, Bishop Dennis Palmer (Debbie) of Roxboro, Elizabeth Black (Joseph) of Greensboro, Shirley Foxx (Charles) of Graham, Alice Watson (Rufus) of Roxboro, Bettye Jean Benton (David) of Greensboro, Remele Harris of Roxboro and Calvin Palmer (Marjorie) of Roxboro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
