She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford McKinley Raye, Sr. and Annie Minor Raye; her husband Dr. Frederick Mallory Chandler; her daughters, Freda Ann Chandler and Susan Raye Chandler; and her siblings, Clifford "Mac" McKinley Raye, Jr. and Mary Jane Raye Brown. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Red House Presbyterian Church Cemetery (13508 NC-119, Semora, NC 27343).
