She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Zelle Perkins and Luther Edward Whitt, Sr. (late John Alva Harris); her son John Alvah Harris, Jr.; and her brother Luther Edward Whitt, Jr.. She is survived by: her sibling Farm Credit; her children, Whitney Day (Wendell) of Wake Forest, Mark Harris (Rhonda) of Roxboro and David Harris (Jane) of Monks Corner, SC; her daughter-in-law Linda Harris of Little River, SC; and her nephew Martin Whitt of Roxboro. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
